Cupcake Classes ...

After many requests we have decided to run a few classes before the start of Bridal Season... So come along to our sunny cake studio and get creative.  Maximum of 6 people so get in quick to reserve your place.

you will be provided with 6 freshly baked cupcakes , all the ingredients and equipment and a box to take your master pieces home in so just bring an apron and a few friends for a fun couple of hours.

Cost is $50.00 per person per class 

Beginner classes.."spring has sprung" learn to pipe beautiful buttercream swirls and decorate with sugar butter flys and blossoms that you have created.

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

With a theme of "Shabby Chic /Vintage"  this class is an introduction to finishing your cupcakes in fondant using different embossing techniques , creating sugar roses, daisey's and other gorgeous creations to create beautiful cupcakes to impress your friends.

August 27th 2012 is the date set for the next SPCA cupcake day.  Zhakita Cake Designz has participated in this wonderful event for the last 3 years.  Each year just gets better and better....and busier.

 Last year over $1200 was raised for the SPCA with over 600 cupcakes having been pre-sold for delivery the next day...WOW!!! what a huge effort but with such a worthy cause the effort was certainly worth it.

With generous sponsorship from Gilmores Henderson for the ingredients and Pacific Cartons International for the packaging we were able to bake,decorate and package 5 delicious  handcrafted cupcakes ready for delivery to our excited followers...most being loyal customers from the last 3 years.

We are so very proud to support the SPCA in this worthwhile event....watch this space and lets see if this year we can top our own record again.............. 

March 2012 Zhakita Cake Designz was proud to be associated with the Waitakere Wedding Expo at The Lincoln Green Hotel. Another wonderful year with lots of lovely exihibitors and plenty for potential couples to look at and get idea's for their upcoming weddings

We had another fabulous day with our stand proving very popular with brides and grooms alike and plenty of delious cake samples for everyone.

 We had an array of beautiful designer cakes on display and with many couples choosing to book their wedding cakes on the day with us and many following that week after consultations and cake tastings in our beautiful cake studio that week.

We look forward to being apart of this show again next year and supporting out local businesses.  The team at The Lincoln Green do an incredible job with this expo and each year it just gets better and better
